Machete Gangsters Alert
Machete-wielding gangsters are reported to have invaded most street corners within Harare. More than 10 people every day are reported to be robbed their belongings including cars after smashed and assaulted at some identified intersections.
1. Corner Churchill and Borrowdale road
2. Second street and Herbert Chitepo
3. Harare Gardens and Africa Unity Square There are no lights in the park once natural light is gone.
4. New Round About along Highglen Rd en route to Kuwadzana
5. Simon Mazorodze & Willlowvale Rd traffic light (where there are BAT and Pepsi)

7. Herbert Chitepo and Prince Edward (Close to Harare Polytechnic
The CBD, Avondale West, Avonlea, and The Avenues are no longer safe.
8. Second Street and Churchill
Be safe on the roads, always be alert when driving or walking. Remove all things from your car, lock your car and doors at all times ( day or night) to ensure your safety
machete-wielding gangsters’ have become a security threat to the public.
The gangs have also wreaked havoc where they commit crimes such as murder, rape. Diplomatic police are appealing to the diplomatic community to avoid using these streets, especially at night. And do not stop at that intersection when the road is clear.
Report any suspicious characters to the police as soon as you notice something unusual without delay…
