President Mnangagwa Allow Mbare Musika To Reopen Tomorrow After Covid-19 Forced Closure
Reports reaching the Zimtrending from state media reports notes that Mbare Musika is set to reopen in Harare tommorow.
The Mbare Musika is a Fresh Produce Market and is the major trading market for vegetables and fruits in Mbare suburb of Harare, Zimbabwe. It acts as the distribution centre for agricultural produce in Zimbabwe. It is also the major bus station for rural bound and incoming transport.
The development comes after the President intervened to allow farmers to bring food into urban areas.
Late last week in Mutare the Zimbabwe Republic Police burnt fresh produce which they confiscated from farmers. The incident did not sit well with Mnangagwa who included farm produce sales issues in his address to the nation.
However this move wll be faced by the another potential transport to Mbare.
