ZRP Search For Coronavirus Patient Residing In Ruwa After Escaping Quarantine Centre

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is looking for a COVID-19 positive patient who is reported to have been staying in Ruwa after escaping from a quarantine center in Beitbridge at Nssa Hotel.

The Mashonaland East Rapid Response Team is dealing with the case. The man is believed to be infected with coronavirus after tests were conducted in Beitbridge.

He allegedly joined his family at Madyise farm in Ruwa on 6 June. The farm owner reportedly discovered the ordeal and chased the family away.

The police are looking for whereabouts o the family and the patient.
