A 59-YEAR-OLD female traditional healer Tracy Simbi, from Mutare, yesterday appeared before magistrate Prisca Chibindi facing two counts of aggravated indecent assault of a Grade 3 pupil.
Tracy was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody to July 15.
Prosecutor Brian Goto told the court that between January and March 20 this year, a friend to the complainant called the complainant (name withheld for ethical reasons) aged 10 to his house to play.
The accused called the complainant, who was playing outside, into the house and had sexual intercourse with him once.
Tracy ordered the juvenile not to divulge the sexual assault to anyone.
In the second count, Tracy called the complainant to her house and again had sexual intercourse with him.
The matter came to light after the complainant’s mother (name withheld) asked him where he was coming from and he spilled the beans, leading to Tracy’s arrest.
