Zimbabwean Journalist Bail Postponed
Zimbabwean journalist Hopewell Chin'ono's bail decision was postponed to Thursday due to Covid-19.
Chin'ono was rested on Monday and has been held in police custody as he was charged with incitement of public violence in which he could face up to 10 years in prison.
On Wednesday during the bail hearing, the magistrate said a new curfew obliged them to halt proceedings for at least a day.
His lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa said the case has been deliberately postponed to make sure that there is no ruling until he has spent a couple of nights inside.
