ZESA Announces New Electricity Tariffs Effective 1 March 2023
For 101-200 Units, you pay ZWL$60.44 per unit (about US$0.06 per unit), for a total of ZWL$6 407.00
The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority, ZESA has raised electricity tariffs effective 1 March 2023.
With this new system, the more power you consume, the more you'll pay per unit. Here are the current tariffs for each band:
For the first 50 units, you will pay $17.21 ZWL per unit (about US$0.02 per unit), for a total of $912.00 ZWL. The total discounted units up to this point are 50 units which will cost you a total of $$912.00 ZWL
For 51-100 Units, you will pay $34.50 ZWL per unit (about US$0.03 per unit), for a total of $1 828.50 ZWL. The total discounted units up to this point are 100 units which will cost you a total of $$2 740.50 ZWL
For 101-200 Units, you will pay $60.44 ZWL per unit (about US$0.06 per unit), for a total of $6 407.00 ZWL. The total discounted units up to this point are 200 units which will cost you a total of $$9 147.50 ZWL
For 201-300 Units, you will pay $86.29 ZWL per unit (about US$0.08 per unit), for a total of $9 147.00 ZWL. The total discounted units up to this point are 300 units which will cost you a total of $18 294.50 ZWL
For 301-400 Units, you will pay $99.17 ZWL per unit (about US$0.09 per unit), for a total of $10 512.00 ZWL. The total discounted units up to this point are 400 units which will cost you a total of $28 806.50 ZWL
For 401 and above Units, you will pay $103.49 ZWL per unit (about US$0.10 per unit),
