I bought this car last week Wednesday in Arcadia, only to realize on Friday that it was a rental vehicle. The seller is no longer available, and I had given him $5000 down payment, remaining with a $2000 balance which was to be paid by June month end. I was contacted by ‘masondosi' vachiti there was a guy who, coz of an emergency at his house, was selling his Mazda CX5 for US$10 000 and I was interested in that deal (I'm a car dealer by the way).

The seller was contacted and he brought his vehicle for viewing that afternoon in Arcadia, and with my colleagues we inspected the car and liked it. We negotiated the price until he agreed on $7000. He left that afternoon since we had made an arrangement to meet later for the transaction. The seller identified himself as Daniel Chengo.

At around 5pm on Wednesday we met again to finish our deal and I paid the down payment of $5000 after this Daniel Chengo had produced the original ‘book' remota and we concluded our deal him keeping the ‘book' until our last installment of $2000 by monthend. Everything was alright and we were so happy about this deal, we drove home with my wife (she's the one who brought the mula from home) and my colleagues went on their way.

Come Friday now, around 3pm I was parking my new car along 6th and N.Mandela when another maroon CX5 parked next to me and some 2 ladies and a guy disembarked asking to see the ‘owner' of the white CX5. As a car dealer I thought these were customers and I was eager to attend to them only for them to tell me that the vehicle belonged to their car rental company and it was due for return.

I confidently told them I had purchased the car a few days ago from Daniel Chengo and showed them my proof of purchase, the book. They said someone had hired the vehicle from them and it was due for returning and they had located me by the use of the car tracker.

Identity particulars of the alleged fraudster

They immediately immobilized the vehicle and the drama started to unfold. I showed them the picture of the sellr(his driver's license) and they were quick to identify him as Perfect the guy who came to hire the car. Unfortunately I only have his back view photos. We called the cops and the car was impounded and taken to Marlborough Police for further investigations.

I'm about to lose the car and the money and I'm so devastated. Please help me locate this guy. I can be contacted on 0783908278 or 0712796067.

Please help me!
