DOWNLOAD: WHO COVID-19 Situation Report On Zimbabwe
The World Health Organisation (who) said Zimbabwe has been on alert since the 22nd of January 2020 following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus – COVID-19.
In its situation report on Zimbabwe, WHO said:
Zimbabwe has been on alert since the 22nd of January 2020 and screening has also been ongoing in the Ports of Entry and more than 9 505 passengers from COVID-19 affected countries have been screened from the various points of entry in Zimbabwe.
As of 13 March, Zimbabwe has tested 14 suspected cases of COVID 19 and all were negative and the country has not reported any COVID 19 confirmed case. Two alerts from Bulawayo were followed by the Rapid Response Team on the 13th of March 2020 and these were found not to meet the case definition.
