Coronavirus Update – Pics: City of Harare Launches Handwashing Campaign

The city of Harare deployed foot peddled handwashing basins in the Central Bussines District. These basins will be functional in the handwashing campaign.

This was in response to the coronavirus that is spreading very fast in the world. South Africa our neighbouring country has confirmed 116 cases to date

The City of Harare Town Clerk said: “We are encouraging people in Harare to wash their hands in order to stop the virus from spreading”.

He went on to say despise the spirit of vandalism in the city from vandalising the hand washing basins.

“Zvinhu izvi taisira imi please don't vandalise, let's cooperate together as we fight this pandemic”.

However little has been said about the water crisis in Harare on improving.
