Teacher Bites Learners as Punishment
In a bizarre twist of classroom discipline, a Hwange-based teacher has found himself in a rather sticky situation after allegedly biting his learners during a lesson.
Oscar Ndlovu (49) a teacher at Neluswi Primary School in Jambezi, reportedly went on a biting spree, leaving 23 pupils with more than just a lesson to remember.
According to the Chronicle, the Grade Seven teacher's unusual method of punishment came to light after one of his students, a 12-year-old girl, bravely reported the incident to the police.
The young complainant's report has sparked an investigation, with Matabeleland North provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Glory Banda, confirming the strange turn of events.
“I can confirm that on October 23, 2024, at 1200hrs, the complainant made a report of assault at ZRP Jambezi, stating that she was bitten by her school teacher,” said Insp Banda.

“The accused asked the class the meaning of the word ‘dynamic'. However, when the learners failed to explain the meaning, the teacher became furious.”
In what can only be described as a moment of frenzy, Ndlovu allegedly bit the complainant on her right shoulder.

It appears that 22 other learners also fell victim to his unorthodox disciplinary measures, each receiving a bite for their troubles.
The incident has left the community in shock and disbelief, with many questioning the teacher's methods.
As the investigation continues, Ndlovu faces imminent arrest and a potential career change. Perhaps a role in a vampire movie might be more fitting for his unique talents.
