15 Year Old Zimbabwean Motocross Rider Honored
Young talented Zimbabwean Motocross rider Tanyaradzwa Muzinda has been nominated and invited to receive a Global Impact Award for Sporting Excellency by the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards.
This year’s Awards are the 10th Anniversary Celebrations and will be held for the first time in Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls.
The 15-year-old expressed excitement and gratitude for this great recognition in her career as the first female to win a motocross championship and the good work she has been doing as a positive impact on other children's life
“In their letter, the ZAA pointed that this award was in recognition of my career as a Champion Motocross athlete and positive impact upon generations and communities through my inspirational story as the first female to win a championship in Independent Zimbabwe”
“ZAA also commended with pride my achievements and philanthropic work at a tender age and pointed that l have become the face of an entire generation and global icon in my own right most notable as European Union to Zimbabwe Honorary Ambassador for Youth, Sports, Gender and Development among other recognitions.”
“I am delighted to have been nominated and invited to receive a Global Impact Award for Sporting Excellency by the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards.
“I will be conferred with an Honorary Global Impact Award for Sporting Excellency and Community Building,” she said.
The reigning Junior sportsperson of the year has dedicated the award to all the girls going through a tough time.
“This is a special award and l want to dedicate it to all the little girls going through difficult and trying times working hard to make their dreams and aspirations come to life under extreme and difficult conditions in Zimbabwe, Africa, and the World.
“I promise them that we should not give up, vultures are waiting for girls to die and feast on us that should never happen, “she said.
The awards have been previously they have been held in South Africa, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, and the United States.
