Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla Reprimanded for Shivambu Jibe

Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla is on a tight leash from her father and uMkhonto weSizwe (MK Party) President Jacob Zuma after she insulted the party's secretary general, Floyd Shivambu on X.

Zuma-Sambudla infamously told Shivambu to f*** off and posted that he is the worst thing that happened to MK Party.

She was swiftly reprimanded for her behaviour on social media, told to apologise immediately and threatened with expulsion if she does not do so.

The party's supporters have not taken kindly to the post and have also come out in support of Shivambu, claiming that Zuma-Sambudla is not well-versed in politics and is a beneficiary of nepotism.

“Duduzile Zuma has no political education. She's going to destroy all the work that has went into building the MK Party. She thinks the party is some family stokvel. Wait and see,” reacted X user, MbawoLive.

Harare Mayor, Jacob Mafume says he has been threatened with death following corruption revelations at the Justice Maphios Chedaled commission of inquiry.

In an interview with NewsDay, Harare mayor Mafume yesterday accused executive assistant to the town clerk Matthew Marara of threatening to take unspecified action against him.

“Yes, l confirm that in my phone l have death threats from Marara. He knows where l stay and l not only fear for myself but my family. He even claims to have protection from authorities so nothing can be done to him,” he said.

In the messages, Marara accuses Mafume of using him to fight head of district administration Fani Machipisa who died late last year, a few months after an acrimonious fallout over the allocation of stands.

Marara said former Harare mayor Herbert Gomba used to fight him but suffered the consequences and was no longer at Town House.
