High Court Bars Government From Conducting June Examinations

The government has been barred from conducting the June ZIMSEC examinations unless World Health Organisation guidelines that restrain the spread of coronavirus are met. 

The High Court issued a June 26 ultimatum for the government to comply with set guidelines following an application by Teachers Unions. 

The government is supposed to provide PPE and implement all procedures and recommendations of WHO before the start of the examinations on June 30
