Man Kills Colleague Over A Mug Of Beer
Mberengwa based Zvinavashe Mahove from Chief Mazihofa’s area allegedly fatally assaulted his colleague over a mug of beer.
Police are keen on interviewing Mahove over the death of his colleague Brighton Hove, with whom he was drinking beer at Mutekedza Business Centre when the fatal assault happened last week.
Midlands Police spokesperson Joel Goko said the two were drinking from the same mug when they suddenly had a misunderstanding over the beer. Said Goko:
They had a misunderstanding while drinking beer at a tuck-shop. The accused assaulted the deceased with an unknown object several times on his head and kicked him with booted feet.
Goko urged members of the public to avoid violence in resolving their differences.
