Man Kills Wife With A Rock During An Argument

A 37-year-old Mutoko man who fatally struck his estranged wife (28) with a rock on Sunday.

The incident occurred when the wife, who was living separately, albeit a few metres from her husband, approached the accused resulting in a quarrel between the two. Police said in a statement:

A Mutoko (37) man is on the run after he fatally struck and killed his 28-year-old wife with a stone.

The couple was living separately, a few metres apart and on 12/7/20 the wife approached the estranged husband, leading to a quarrel which culminated in the death of the former.

Members of the public are urged to solve their differences amicably and where possible, seek counselling rather than resort to violence.
