MSU First Year Students Arrested For Possession of Mbanje
MSU first year students arrested for possession of mbanje on campus.
Recently registered, wayward first-year students currently on induction were allegedly busted smoking mbanje at Midlands State University Senga main campus.
The two were arrested by Senga ZRP officers and are currently assisting with investigations.
According to a security memo seen by this reporter, Kudzaishe Chipamuriwo registered for Agricultural Economics and Takunda Malcolm Ferera registered for Insurance and Risk Management admitted that they were smoking mbanje in Room 11 of Japan Hostel on Tuesday September 8th 2015 around 1:45pm.
The two were identified by an alert janitor Mr. Phiri who was doing his routine duties and smelt dagga prompting him to investigate.
When the two students admitted smoking dagga, Mr Phiri alerted university security guards who searched the room and found a half satchet of mbanje.
