Pics: Blood Sucking Creature Ravaging Livestock In Gwanda
Villagers of Makwe area in Gwanda, are now living perpetual terror of things that go bump in the night.
A mysterious creature is reported to be ravaging the village livestock, killing more than 50 goats in just a month
According to reports by ZBC the responsible creature is said to belong in the cat family, although no one has come forward to name the creature.
More mysterious is its manner of killing in which it sucks the blood of the animals, after rippin their necks.
Most carnivorous animals usually attack and then go on to ravage the animal flesh, however in this case, it seems only the neck is ripped and the goats appear to be exsanguinated.
Strangely, said creature is also reported to be terrorizing women, although there has been no explanation as to how it does so and if it’s attacks are gender specific.
In other tragic news, 3 men from Chivi in Masvingo have been charged with murder after they allegedly beat up their 72-year old mother to death, accusing her of witchcraft.
The three, Duduzile, Bright and Daniel Tizirai approached their now-deceased mother Nyengeterai Tizirai, and accused her of witchcraft, saying she caused the death of her daughter in law.
According to the evidence given by the state, the trio took the deceased to Nyaningwe dip tank, tied her hands with a rope and took turns to beat her up, using a rubber strip and logs.
One witness, Cathrine Tatenda, then went to assist the now deceased woman and made a police report, after discovering that she was no longer breathing.
According to a post mortem repot, she died due to hemorrhagic shock, blunt trauma and assault
