A pro-ED group of 'mbinga' calling themselves EEG have called for Winky D's Music to be banned
A group of pro-ED mbingas under the banner EEG have called on the government to ban Winky D's music.
In a presser done in Harare, Tuesday afternoon, the EEG speaker Kudakwashe Chinguwo said Winky D was influencing young artists to speak ill against the president and Zanu-PF who were ‘doing a great job of developing the country'.

The unknown speaker was identified as Kudakwashe Chinguwo. He was allegedly paid USD550 to do the presser by Scot Sakupwanya and Mike Chimombe.

The EEG leader went on to interpret Winky D's mention of Hutus and Tutsis (the ethnicities that fought each other in the bloody Rwanda Genocide) to mean that Winky D was advocating for a civil war.

Norton legislator Temba Mliswa has blasted the EEG move as fascist saying, “We are not a Fascist republic where artists have to be fed what things to sing about.”

Citizens have described the EEG presser as an unfortunate event.
10. At their presser, the #EEG ZanuPF pressure group demanded that Winky D, & other artists, sing praises to Mr Mnangagwa for his "development work".
