Artist Cucsman Quits Politics, Focuses on Business
The musician revealed that his political affiliation has taken a toll on his business, as it has made it difficult for him to secure business deals.
Renowned social media personality, Cucsman, has announced his departure from the political arena.
The multi-talented musician became a household name thanks to his politically charged songs and skits that resonated with the masses.
Notably, Cucsman is an ardent supporter of the opposition party, Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC). He dedicated songs to CCC president Nelson Chamisa and used his platform to address issues affecting ordinary Zimbabweans.
Unfortunately, the musician revealed that his political affiliation has taken a toll on his business, as it has made it difficult for him to secure business deals.
As a result, Cucsman made the difficult decision to abstain from peddling political messages on his platform. He explained that he will instead concentrate on non-partisan topics, such as encouraging young people to register to vote.
Taking to his Facebook page, Cucsman wrote:
Fellow Zimbabweans, It is with great sadness that I, Cucsman, have made a very difficult decision.
I will no longer peddle political messages on all my platforms as such activities jeopardize my career as a musician and comedian.
Cucsman appealed to his legion of fans to continue supporting him.
In the past few months, I have lost so many opportunities, some companies were willing to work with me, but because of my political affiliation, everything was at stake. i wish i could continue to do my duties as a concerned citizen, but i have found myself in a very difficult position to do that.
I still strongly believe in the need for change in Zimbabwe. However l will continue encouraging citizens to reigister to vote and participate in the issues of governance on other relevant platforms. At this present moment, l will advance my career as a musician and comedian.
i want to thank all my fans and followers and I am appealing for your continued support, Asante-Sana.
Cucsman also revealed that his old Facebook page Cucsman Edutainment was hacked and that he is trying to regain access to it. Meanwhile, he is encouraging his followers to stay connected with him through his personal Facebook page.
“…my old page Cucsman Edutainment is not functional as of now , raka hackwa nevanogona , iam still trying to recover it.”
