Two high-ranking managers at the state broadcaster ZBC have been suspended over sexual harassment allegations.
This development comes on the heels of the recent suspension of the radio services director and the Power FM station manager on similar charges.

On Thursday, ZimSeen reported that the broadcaster had suspended its News and Current Affairs director Albert Chekayi and News Bulletins Manager Effort Magoso.
Chekayi, who recently assumed his position, received the news of his suspension through papers delivered to his residence on Thursday morning.
Magoso, on the other hand, was suspended just before the Main News bulletin on Wednesday night.
Magoso is accused of grabbing a female co-worker’s rear a few years ago, while Chekayi is facing allegations of sexually harassing a female colleague.
Both individuals are expected to appear before a disciplinary committee at an undisclosed date.
More Managers Suspended in ZBC Sexual Harassment Scandal
In a related development, Scott Matengambiri, a popular radio personality and Station Manager of Power FM, known as DJ Scott, was recently suspended for allegedly pressuring a female subordinate into providing oral sex as a condition for offering her a job.
DJ Scott is reportedly considering resigning to avoid appearing before a disciplinary committee.
When contacted for a statement, ZBC’s Chief Executive Officer, Adelaide Chikunguru, declined to comment on the matter and ended the call, stating,
I would like to decline to comment on this. Thanks.
DJ Scott is the second ZBC senior employee to be embroiled in a sex scandal within the past week.
Robson Mhandu, ZBC’s Radio Services Director, was also suspended last week amid allegations of demanding sexual favours from a subordinate, Farai Juliet Magada, better known as Farai Jules.
