Nthabiseng Ramokolo has been exposed for falsely claiming to be a pharmacist, mirroring the infamous case of TikTok personality Dr Matthew Lani.

Dr Matthew Faces Criminal Charges

A famous TikToker, going by the name Dr Matthew Lani, made headlines earlier this week when social media sleuths exposed him for pretending to be a medical doctor.

Now, a female version of him has surfaced and her facade is crumbling with the University of Limpopo exposing her lies.

According to a LinkedIn profile under her name, Nthabiseng Ramokolo graduated from the University of Limpopo with a pharmacy degree last year.

Reports on social media suggest that she has been using this false status to attract wealthy men and has been frequenting clubs dressed in “Scrubs” to lure them.

In an official statement, the university clarified that Nthabiseng Ramokolo has never been a student at their institution, let alone graduated with a pharmacy degree.

The university also denied her alleged enrollment in a Master’s program. Read the statement below:

The University of Limpopo (UL) has noted with concern claims circulating on social media regarding an individual named Nthabiseng Ramokolo, who can be seen wearing scrubs and a coat bearing the University’s name and logo.

This has created the impression that she holds a pharmacy qualification from UL.

After checking all records, the University would like to state that Nthabiseng Ramokolo is not a UL pharmacy graduate and that she was never a student of the University.

Additionally, her claims on social media that she is a master’s student at UL are false.

The Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at UL, Professor Tebogo Mothiba, said:

The records of the University do not contain any information on Nthabiseng Ramokolo, and our faculty members, as well as current and former students, have confirmed that they have never met her before.

The use of UL, its name or logo, by anyone to misrepresent their academic qualifications is unlawful.

UL reserves the right to take whatever action necessary to protect its reputation and the credibility of its qualifications.

On her LinkedIn profile, Nthabiseng Ramokolo indicates that she is employed by Dis-Chem. However the pharmaceutical retailer has denied her claims stating:

We can confirm that we do not have anyone by the name of “Nthabiseng Ramokolo” employed by the Dis-Chemgroup.

We believe the LinkedIn account information listed on this profile to be inaccurate.
