A man in Dzivarasekwa has reportedly been killed by his friend after not buying the accused beer.
In a bizarre incident that took place in Dzivarasekwa on November 26, the victim was stabbed to death after the accused demanded reasons why he was no longer buying the accused beer.
Stabbed For Refusing to Buy Beer
The Zimbabwe Republic Police has confirmed the murder, which took place on the 26th. In their statement, they have stated that:
Police in Harare have arrested Tapiwa Nyahumbane (23) in connection with a case of murder which occurred on November 26 at around 11 pm at the intersection of 7th and 4th Street Dzivarasekwa.
The victim, Clayton Nyamupenzi (25), died after being stabbed with a kitchen knife on the chest and palms following the scuffle. The suspect had demanded to know why the victim was no longer buying him beer.
The Zimbabwean police are also appealing to the public for help identifying the body of a male adult whose body was found in Graniteside in a drain.
The deceased has multiple injuries on his body, and the police are asking anyone with information to report to the nearest police station.

In another case, a 16-year-old juvenile murdered a 19-year-old with a kitchen knife in Ruwa over an undisclosed argument.
The police are currently investigating the murder which happened at a house in Solomio Park in Ruwa.
In Gokwe, 63-year-old Mavis Murungwa has also been apprehended by the police for the murder of her husband, Tinaye Goka.

Murungwa hit Tinaye with logs with the help of her 16-year-old grandchild.
