Mihlali Attempted to Stab Leeroy for Cheating
In a statement dated 05 August 2024, Leeroy Sidambe has responded to rumours of him physically assaulting girlfriend Mihlali Ndamase.

In the statement, Dumezweni Leeroy Sidambe went on to address recent the allegations that have surfaced regarding gender-based violence against his partner Mihlali Ndamase.
Leeroy wrote: “I have always upheld the values of respect, equality in our relationship and interactions. It is disheartening to see how quickly misinformation and manipulation can spread and how easily someone's character can be called into question without a thorough understanding of the facts.”
He added that as someone who had experienced the disturbing and hurtful impact of these issues personally, he empathised deeply with victims of gender-based violence.
Leeroy explained that on 04 August 2024 Mihlali Ndamase attempted to contact him by placing a total of 78 calls of which he did not answer as he had fallen asleep.
He wrote that: “Mihlali then arrived at my residence and persistently requested that my son open for her so she could see me. Upon arriving as my son recollects, she headed to the kitchen to equip herself with a knife in the attempt of stabbing me as she allegedly was shown evidence of me being unfaithful.”
Mihlali Attempted to Stab Leeroy for Cheating
Mihlali Ndamase allegedly went to Leeroy's bedroom as he was asleep to confront him for being unfaithful. She allegedly attempted to stab him of which he then protected himself by pushing her away from him resulting in her sustaining her injuries as she made contact with the wall.
He adds that:
My son then came to my rescue after hearing me shouting and pleading for Mihlali not to kill me.
Leeroy accused Mihlali of using drugs and acting weird when high. He said:
“With this being said I would like inform you all that Mihlali has a long history of physically assaulting me and damaging my property especially when she is under the influence of substances I cannot name.”
He added that there is a plethora of witnesses, including his children and bystanders who can attest to him not ever laying a hand on her during/after any altercations but always deflecting and defending himself accordingly.
He alleges that Mihlali is seeking to soil his name.
