New Details Emerge in Stunner’s Assault Case
New deets have just dropped about rapper Desmond “Stunner” Chideme, who’s been nabbed on assault charges. The buzz is all about his recent appearance at the Mbare Magistrates’ Court, facing some serious allegations.
Fresh video evidence has hit social media, showing the exact moment of the altercation. Contrary to the initial gossip that Stunner assaulted his daughter’s nine-year-old friend, the real story is even juicier!
Stunner is now accused of attacking his neighbour, Catherine Matiza, and a nine-year-old girl who’s a mate of his daughter. It all kicked off when Stunner’s daughter was playing with three friends. Things got heated, the kids started fighting, and Stunner’s daughter ended up in tears.
Stunner allegedly stepped in to protect his daughter and ended up assaulting the nine-year-old girl. The drama escalated when Catherine Matiza, the girl’s guardian, tried to intervene.

She claims Stunner attacked her too, dragging her into his yard to avoid prying eyes, leaving her bleeding. And yes, there’s a video!
In court, Stunner, repped by his lawyer Dumisani Mthombeni, pleaded not guilty to the assault charges. Mthombeni threw shade at the police, accusing them of bias and selective handling of the case.
“Your Worship, the accused person has complaints against the police who were biased and selective in handling this case. The police were selective in taking the complaints and did not capture his report on time,” Mthombeni said.

He also mentioned that Stunner reported the incident to the police on August 25, but his case wasn’t properly addressed. Mthombeni insists Stunner is innocent and was unfairly arrested.
