The women will join her in the dock today at the Polokwane Magistrate's Court.
The former sergeant Kutumela was arrested last week while on duty at the Senwabarwana Police Station in Limpopo and charged with multiple cases of murder which she allegedly committed to claim insurance.
SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe confirmed that one of the suspects is a 47-year-old nurse, who is sister to the sergeant while the 27-year-old woman is her daughter. They were arrested yesterday at Mabokelele village in Moletjie.
“The pair is expected to appear together with the Sergeant at the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on various charges including murder, fraud and money laundering,” she said.
