Man Forces Himself on Girl Who Came to Fetch Water
HER mum sent her daughter to fetch water from makhi as there was no water at their house.
But makhi named Petros Morema (60) from Daveyton, Ekurhuleni saw this as a chance to satisfy his lust. He allegedly grabbed the 11-year-old girl and raped her.
Luckily, his crime was not going to go unpunished. The girl told her mother what happened, and they went to open a rape case at the Daveyton Police Station.
Makhi was bust and the case was transferred to Benoni Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) and was allocated to Detective Warrant Officer Gladys Mashaba to investigate.

Major-General Anna Sithole thanked the member for her dedication and commitment in securing a good conviction. The mother of the girl said she was pleased with the sentence.
“This will send a strong message to others who are attempting to do the same. He robbed my daughter of her innocence and what makes me angry is that person who did this was close to us,” said the mother.
Thabo Bester's girlfriend and accomplice Nandipha Magudumana is expected to challenge what she calls an unlawful arrest and a hostile extradition at the Supreme Court of Appeal in the Free State on Thursday, 7 November.
She wants the court to nullify her arrest in the Republic of Tanzania and subsequent deportation to Mzansi in April 2023 while she was on the run alongside her boyfriend, Thabo Bester.
Magudumana's first application to fight her arrest was denied by the Free State High Court in 2023.
