The South African Police Service (SAPS) has thwarted an attempt to smuggle goods into the country, seizing a large quantity of items in the process.

The confiscated goods, which include alcoholic beverages, energy drinks, baked goods, flour, and other consumer goods, as well as a chest fridge, were likely being smuggled across the border.
