COVID-19 Positive Cases Now At 320
COVID-19 positive cases have risen to 320 after six new coronavirus cases were confirmed yesterday by the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Health confirmed that the six cases are all returnees from South Africa and are all isolated.
In a statement, the Ministry also revealed that the cumulative number of tests done to date is 55 709 (32 904 RDT and 22 805 PCR). The statement read:
Six (6) cases tested positive for COVID-19 today. These are all returnees from South Africa and are all isolated.
Today 622 RDT screening tests and 552 PCR diagnostic tests were done. The cumulative number of tests done to date is 55 709 (32 904 RDT and 22 805 PCR).
Recoveries were reported by Harare Province (2) and Mashonaland West Province (1).
To date the total number of confirmed cases is 320; recovered 49, active cases 267 and 4 deaths since the onset of the outbreak on 20 March 2020.
