Hospital without water
Sally Mugabe Central Hospital has suffered water problems that were previously faced by Harare Hospital which has indicated Zimbabwe’s healthcare crisis.
The country’s second largest referral hospital sometimes lacks tap or borehole water, according to NewZimbabwe.com.
“Today (Saturday) we have water, but we often go days without,” stated a hospital caregiver.
“My child has been here for a while, and the situation is bad.
We go days without borehole water, and we don’t know why.
“Sometimes we obtain water from doctors’ homes,” she added.
“Walking patients must receive water from the doctor’s house.”

Patients have been given buckets to get their own water as they continuously face water problems..
It is also reported that the hospital has few equipment and medicines and health workers have also gone on strikes in protest of hyperinflation and underpayment of doctors and nurses.
