There was pandemonium at Murewa centre as two men exchanged hands over a pregnant woman.
A video circulating online shows the two men at each other’s throats after a heated confrontation escalated into a physical altercation that drew a crowd of shocked bystanders.
According to available information, a man known as Professor and nicknamed “The Moneychanger” exchanged hands at Murewa centre with a soldier only identified as Marozva.
The incident which took place on Monday, stems from a paternity dispute. Last year, the woman involved eloped while pregnant and later married Professor.

After she gave birth, Marozva claimed to be the biological father of the child, leading to tensions between the two men.
On Monday, the simmering feud boiled over when they encountered each other at Murewa Centre.

A verbal confrontation quickly escalated into a brawl, with onlookers and local authorities stepping in to separate the two.

A Bulawayo couple is accused of defrauding victims of over $130,000. The suspects allegedly posed as agents for an unnamed company, claiming they could secure jobs in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Bulawayo police spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube, identified the suspects as Gwendoline Ndlovu (28) and Melusi Ndlovu (36). He said:
“Police in Bulawayo are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Gwendoline Ndlovu and Melusi Ndlovu, who are wanted in connection with multiple fraud cases committed in 2023.”
The couple is linked to 18 cases of fraud, swindling a total of US$134,552 between January and July 2023.
