Claiming to be an economics student at the University of Zimbabwe, he weaved a sob story about needing R3,000 for exam fees, while also stating he was battling depression and contemplating su!c!de.

However, his ruse didn’t last long.

Social media users quickly recognized him from Gweru and alerted others to his long history of fraudulent activities.
