Father kills son while scolding him

Tragic hits Bulawayo as father kills son while punishing him for breaking a neighbour's window.

Joseph Phiri beat his son to death with an iron bar and tried to commit suicide after discovering that his son Adam who was a form two student was no longer breathing.

Phiri is under police supervision recovering at Mpilo Central Hospital after drinking pesticide.

No comment has been made yet by the acting Bulawayo police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele.
