Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim players refused to play on, passing to each other in retaliation to a protest from the Bayern Munich fans against the owner of Hoffenheim, Dietmar Hopp.
With Bayern Munich dominating the game 6-0, the Bayern fans started to protest against Hoffenheim's owner, Dietmar Hopp.
The Bayern fans started to hold up banners saying:
“Dietmarr Hopp: Son of a B***h”.
Bayern Manager, Hansi Flick went over to the fans to plead to them to take the banners down or the game would be suspended.
After coming off the pitch and standing in the tunnel for a few minutes, Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim spent the last ten minutes of their game just kicking the ball between each other in retaliation to the protests from the Bayern fans.
