South African hip-hop star Big Zulu was reportedly involved in a serious car accident on Sunday night, January 26.
In a heartfelt statement released by his record label, Inkabi Records, the artist’s fans were urged to keep the “Imali Eningi” hitmaker in their thoughts and prayers.
The label shared the troubling news on Facebook, writing, “Nkabi Nation, we are deeply saddened to inform you that Big Zulu was in a car accident last night. Please remember him in your prayers.”

The Chitungwiza Municipality has issued a warning to businesses operating in illegal containers and mobile cash cabins.
Owners have until February 6, 2025, to vacate or face confiscation of goods and equipment.
The notice, issued on January 27, 2025, states:
“The Chitungwiza Municipality hereby directs anyone running business in mobile cash cabins or containers without the required licenses, permits, or legitimate leases to cease operations immediately and vacate the area you operate at, by February 6, 2025. Failure to comply with this notice will result in confiscation of any goods and equipment.”
The municipality has urged compliance to avoid financial or legal repercussions.
