Shops in Chitungwiza Ziko Business Center in Seke District including Butcheries have stopped accepting 25 cents and fifty cents bond coins for payment of groceries and meat all cuts.
This practice has spread like veld fire as vegetable vendors and local Craftsmen who specialize in shoe repairs are doing the same and many people are in a dilemma over these issues.
Only last week banks were cashing out $100 in (25c and50c)bond coins and Torn $2 bond notes where also being issued at CBZ Makoni Chitungwiza branch but these are also being rejected by most shops.
