Zimbabwe government renames public building
The government has approved new names of roads, places and republic building in Harare, Bulawayo and other towns in Zimbabwe as they were showing respect to our country’s history.
This was mentioned by Acting Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Mangaliso Ndlovu when he was addressing journalists after yesterday’s Cabinet meeting.
The changes were done to honor the country’s national heroes and the nationalist from religion.
Names like Chingaira Makoni shows respect and honor for the sprit mediums who fought for our country’s freedom.
‘The Cabinet mentioned that naming every community and society shows its identity, culture and its history and its values, norms and world-view, “he said.
