President Emmerson Mnangagwa held a state of the nation address today delivering an Easter message announcing that security patrols will be intensified during the Easter holiday.

The president has urged everyone to observe the lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus as the government intensifies security arms to reduce movement of people as they try to keep the county safe.

“I urge us all to continue to stay at home as well as practicing good hygiene and observing social distance. Meanwhile our security arms will be intensifying their patrols to ensure compliance and to curb the movement of both pedestrians and vehicles” said president Mnangagwa.
