Harare Man Dies After Getting His Head Struck By An Iron Bar By Robbers

A Harare man was struck with an iron bar on the head and lost consciousness in Harare Yesterday evening.

According to ZRP Tweets the incident occurred along Leopold Takawira Way on 16/05/20 at around 1900 hours. An unknown suspect searched him and stole his belongings.

ZRP reports that he later gained consciousness and was taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital, where he was treated and discharged but did not report the matter to the Police. His condition deteriorated during the night and he later died.

The crime rate is increasing in the country.
