Ginimbi Joins Cousin Marry Mubaiwa in Longer Remand Stint
Flamboyant businessman Genius Kadungure’s has been denied bail and he has sent back to remand.
His attempt to get freedom was denied at the Harare provincial magistrates court by Harare regional magistrate, Crispen Mberewere. The bail attempt was denied on the basis that he showed dishonesty after committing the offence while on bail on other similar offences.
These are the same circumstances that led to Marry Mubaiwa being denied bail a few days back. Interestingly, Marry is Genius' cousin.
The charges against Kadungure arise from the Bently that he imported into the country from South Africa last month.
He allegedly undervalued the Bentley and prejudiced ZIMRA of nearly US $58 665 in import duty.
