Government To Make A Decision About The 2020 November ZIMSEC Exams

The minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Cain Mathema has confirmed that it is still unclear if the 2020 ZIMSEC candidates will sit for their final examinations as the COVID-19 is still not contained and he doesn’t know if schooling will resume.
Mathema was responding to questions in parliament when he said the government will continue to monitor the situation and they will be guided by the situation at hand to make a decision about the exams:
The issue of writing exams is so far not known; it depends on COVID-19 cases. As you are aware cases of the COVID-19 Pandemic are spiking.
Earlier this week the government deferred reopening schools which was scheduled for the 28th of July for the writing classes.
