Nurses Welcome New Minister Of Health Vice President Constantino Chiwenga

Nurses have embraced and welcomed the appointment of Vice President Constantino Chiwenga as the Health minister.

This development met mixed feelings around the nation, with Zimbabweans questioning if he was the right candidate for the job.

In a statement, nurses noted that they are hopeful that the new minister and permanent secretary will bring about change in the Health system especially at a time like this when the Health sector has taken a major blow due to Covid-19.

The Zimbabwe Nurses Association (ZINA), said that they hope the new appointees were fully informed of the crisis in the health sector adding that they will not be resuming duty until all their grievances have been addressed.
