Two More ZIMSEC Papers Leak

…as police suspect, Head Office is involved

ZIMSEC Ordinary Level exam papers continue to leak as Mathematics Paper 2 and Combined Sciences have found their way into the streets. Social media is currently awash with evidence of the leading of the two exam papers which are yet to be written.

On Monday Mathematics Paper 1, coded 4004/1 was leaked on WhatsApp in PDF format. There are reports that 10 students had already seen the Maths paper 2 that was written yesterday.

Zimsec spokesperson Nick Dlamini confirmed the leak on Monday, adding that investigations were underway.

“The extent of the leak is yet to be ascertained, after which the relevant authorities will make an informed decision of the administration of this paper. Zimsec, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and the police are investigating the leak and have already identified some candidates who had pre-access to the question paper and are currently tracking down the source where the papers originated.”

Mr Dlamini said the police forensic laboratory was on high alert to reveal anyone who is sending question papers.

Incidents of final-year examination papers leaking are not new.
