Zimbabwe Voter’s Roll Bloated With Fake IDs
ZEC has been adding thousands of fake voters to the roll since 2008
Pachedu has discovered more irregularities in the voters roll and this time it's thousands of fake IDs.
The group tweeted:
“We have discovered how ZEC has been bloating the voters roll with thousands of duplicate voters since 2008 by simply adding a zero to the IDs. The subsequent fake IDs with a fake issue number are also in the 2022 roll.
RG Officials also confirmed that the IDs are fake!”

While IDs can end with 00, NO valid ID starts with 00 [Issuing District].
In FEB, we exposed these fakes, but have now confirmed how ZEC did it thanks to fuzzy matching & RG office.

However, ZEC spokesperson Jasper Mangwana refuted the allegations saying they are using a new voter's Roll. He said:
“In 2017 @ZECzim created a new voters roll using biometric features of every voter.There is no relation between this voters roll and those used in 2008/13 elections which where under the RG. ZEC gives all contesting candidates voters rolls in all By Elections.”
