Parklands Zimbo Child Trafficker on the Run
Men would come to the house, and they could rent a room — and a body.
A Parklands Zimbo child trafficker is on the run after the child trafficking ring was busted in Parklands, South Africa.
It is alleged that a teacher was alarmed when one of her Grade one girl came to school smelling like sex. The next day, her sister couldn’t sit down, and when teachers asked the girl why she was standing up, she said her vagina was sore.
The teachers called social services, but they didn’t come straight away, and the girls had to go home with their father’s cousin, who picked them up from school each day. It is alleged that the parents live in Zimbabwe.
The social workers didn’t show up in the upcoming days, and the teachers refused to let the children leave the school. When the uncle showed up at the school, he demanded that the children be released.
He went to SAPS saying the school was keeping the girls unlawfully, and since he’s their legal guardian and social services hadn’t investigated, they had to let the girls go. Once social services went to the home, they found the house empty. The girls were found 4 days later.
The teacher said:
“More children were living there. Men would come to the house, and they could rent a room — and a body. The school failed, the police failed, social workers failed. Nobody gave a damn that there was a house in Parklands where you could rent a room and baby.”
The father’s cousin is allegedly the mastermind behind the sex ring, with many other people involved. The children were taken to Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, and doctors found signs of sexual abuse.
The girls were sent into protective custody, and a legal case was opened against their father’s cousin, but he is on the run. No one has been arrested yet. The teacher had received threats from the girl's uncle and left the school shortly after the incident.
