David Phiri (52) has been charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly setting dogs on Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) television license inspectors.

According to court documents, Mr. Dadley Murwira and Mr. Qhubekani Ndebele, both employed by ZBC as license inspectors, were performing their duties in Victoria Falls when they arrived at Phiri’s home on March 24, 2023.

Prosecutors allege Phiri accused the inspectors of harassing the community. He then allegedly threatened to open his gate and unleash his dogs to bite the inspectors.
