Wife Murdered Over Alleged Affair With Hubby's Nephew
The hubby allegedly used weapons including electric cables to beat the wife indiscriminately.
A 31-year-old woman was beaten to death by her own husband.
According to reports, the accused, Ackim Sibanda (32), accused his wife, Similo Moyo, of having an affair with his own nephew.
Eyewitnesses claim that the attack was brutal, with the victim being whipped with both a leather belt and an electric cable. It is believed that the assault was indiscriminate and took place in their homestead on July 21, 2023.

Police have confirmed that the suspect has been arrested and is being held in custody in connection with the murder of his wife.
In a statement released on social media, the Zimbabwe Republic Police stated:
The ZRP confirms the arrest of Ackim Sibanda (32) in connection with a case of murder in which his wife, Similo Moyo(31), died after she was assaulted with a leather belt and an electric cable indiscriminately on 21/07/23 at a homestead in Sasedza line, Tsholotsho. The suspect accused the victim of having an ɑffɑir with his nephew.
