After the passing of Archbishop Ezekiel Guti, the esteemed leader of Zaoga, his wife, Eunor Guti, introduced the three successors who will now take charge and lead the church.
Speaking following the arrival of the late Guti’s body in Harare, Eunor Guti said:
And you know he did not leave us, is organized, he organized everything, can the three Apostles come up here, here is organised everything,….
These are the three apostles [that] he left us and some of you remember. He was saying when we were praying for him, he was saying why do you pray for me so that I can do what?
Because he knew he had built this strong foundation for these three Apostles.
When we rally behind them and pray for them and love them and not divide them then we will see the God of Ezekiel who is the owner of the church.
On the 5th of July, the beloved church leader passed away in South Africa. Subsequently, his body was transported back to Zimbabwe and arrived on Saturday, where it was received with a hero’s welcome by the congregation of the church.
Despite the somber mood of mourning, the church has undertaken meticulous preparations to organize lavish celebrations that will honor and commemorate the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Ezekiel Guti.
The festivities, scheduled to take place from August 3 to 6, are not restricted to Harare alone but have been extended to welcome attendees from all corners of Zimbabwe and beyond.
