He Fakes Heart Attacks to Dodge Restaurant Bills

Last month, the Lithuanian man’s escapades came to a screeching halt at the El Buen Comer restaurant in Alicante.

After enjoying a seafood paella and a few shots of whisky, the man attempted to walk out on a bill of 34.85 euros, Oddity Central reveals. However, the restaurant staff, well aware of his antics, refused to let him leave.

He tried to fake a heart attack, but this time, the staff did not call the ambulance but instead called the police.

This seasoned serial scam artist has been a headache for Costa Blanca’s restaurant owners since November 2022.

Though he often manages to escape consequences by faking a heart attack, a collective of restaurant proprietors is preparing to file a joint complaint against him. If they win the case, he could face up to two years in jail.

Despite the possibility of incarceration, the man remains undeterred. He is seemingly unfazed by the occasional nights behind bars.
