A Bulawayo man found himself in a distressing situation after his car was stolen during an all-night tlof tlof encounter at his girlfriend’s house.

Khaliphile Nyoni, a 23-year-old resident from Njube suburb in Bulawayo, went to his girlfriend’s house in Mzilikazi suburb, where he spent a romantic evening with his girlfriend.

However, his all-night rendezvous turned into a nightmare after his Honda Fit car was stolen in the middle of the night.

According to a source close to the investigation who spoke to the local tabloid B-Metro, Nyoni arrived at his lover’s residence around 10 pm and parked his car by the roadside.

Khaliphile Nyoni reportedly secured his car and ensured that all windows were closed and the car doors were locked before entering his girlfriend’s home for their rendezvous.

The night unfolded in blissful secrecy until around 3 am when nature called, and Nyoni woke up to use the toilet situated in the yard.

To his shock and dismay, as he stepped outside, Nyoni realized that his car was missing. He searched frantically in the hopes of finding it nearby but soon realized that it had been stolen during the night.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, he promptly contacted the police at Barbourfields Station to report the theft.

Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele, the deputy police spokesperson in Bulawayo, has since confirmed the incident.
