Missing Zimbo Man Found Dead in Manchester
Tanyaradzwa Julius Matara, a 43-year-old Zimbabwean man missing for over a month was found dead.

The unsettling find occurred in close proximity to a sports club situated between Great Cheetham Street West and Broughton Cricket and Rugby Club in Salford.
Mr Matara, classified as “high risk” by the police, had been absent since late October, prompting heightened concern among authorities and the community.
Three individuals were apprehended on suspicion of murder in connection to this case and subsequently released on bail.
Greater Manchester Police disclosed that the investigation was initiated following a tip-off pointing to a specific area of rough terrain and dense shrubbery.
According to Detective Chief Inspector Rachel Smith, the police began the search last week based on information received regarding the rough ground and thick shrubbery.
The human remains, confirmed to be those of Mr Matara, were discovered around 02:30 GMT on Thursday.

“The force has been searching for Julius after he was circulated as a high-risk missing person at the end of October. Everyone had been working hard to locate him, and this was a truly sad ending. We have been conducting our inquiries to gather as much information as we can to paint a picture of how Julius sadly died.
“I would like to thank the community in Salford who have been patient with us during our searches. I understand this is a deeply concerning case for the residents in the area.”
DCI Rachel Smith emphasized the need for detailed information and appealed to anyone with relevant details to come forward.
The police are actively seeking cooperation from the community to assist in understanding the circumstances surrounding Mr Matara’s tragic demise.
